This is what me and DD (and DH joining us on 2nd day) will do:

        Day 1
        1. Go library for workshop on insects.
        2. Stay to borrow books at leisurely pace (cos we usually rush through this).
        3. Go TimeZone to play.
        4. Watch a movie together.
(Not necessarily in this order, of course, since getting the books should be last.)

        Day2
        1. Go Omni-Theatre to catch Sea Monsters.
        2. Eat lunch at Sakura.
        3. Walk off (buffet) lunch at Science Centre.

The rest of the week, DD is entertained by my MIL. And on Friday, she opted to be with her friends from BASC.

Basically, her classes are usually put on hold during sch hols so she enjoys her hols while she still can.

Another nice place to visit during the hols is West Coast Park.

It’s quieter than EC Park and the MacDonalds there has such a nice setting. Lots of space for cycling and rollerblading. Nice playgrounds too.

We plan to be there on one of the early mornings during the hols - for a time of bonding over exercises and breakfast. Looking forward to it!

siti, if you want to go to science centre and omni-theatre within the same day, or to snow city (or some sort of combination like this), you can buy the tickets as a package and save some money.

csc, west coast is definitely very much quieter and therefore nicer, in my opinion (and also closer for me). you can cycle, play soccer, fly a kite, have a picnic, play at the big playground, etc. The Mc’s there is also nicely done up and you can sit outside on a cool day to eat. There are also wash areas near Mc’s for you to clean up without visiting a toilet.

Bad thing is that it’s not that accessible for me so we tend to only go there when my parents or my in-laws drive us. My DD loves climbing, swinging, sliding, cycle and eat Mc’s and make sandcastles, etc.

I'm spending the night at the Siloso Beach Resort in Sentosa, having just finished the show at the Songs of the Sea (ex-musical fountain), Sky ride, and Luge in the last 2 hours. My kids enjoyed all 3 tremendously, though the Sky ride got pretty scary at the highest point for my son who has a fear of heights, but he soon got over it with the Luge which was really fun careening down the slopes. Money well spent :celebrate:

Yes, it's $3 off (ie. 30%) per Luge after 6:30pm if you bring your show ticket to the counter.

                        Hi, I am bringing my sons (5 & 8+) to :

                        - Zoo
                        - clay making lessons (2 days x 1.5 hrs)
                        - Guided tour (Fruits & Veggies) at Botanical Garden

My eldest son will be attending his enrichment class as per normal, stay home to do his holiday homework as well as to prepare his PSLE this year.
