NYPS to RI (or any other schools) is by t-score, if not DSA. A lot of NYPS in RI or HCI is not surprising considering that NYPS is a GEP centre. Frankly, it’s not possible to guess where the boys will end up since they have to go by t-score.

yes, like what floppy mentioned, it's just a coincidence that they end up in RI due to the high academic rigour in NYPS

Would like to check if i am staying within 1km to Mahabodhi but husband has alumni to Catholic High Primary. What would be a better choice for my 2 boys. For Mahabodhi, staying within 1km is it still 50/50% chance? Thank you.

CHS should be ballot required for 2A1 at >2km or no ballot. Maha Bodhi need to ballot <1km at 2C. Register at 2A1 1st then if want can withdraw and register at 2C.

If can get into CHS, no need to withdraw already. Thing is, it’s not a guaranteed. Hence, apply at Phase 2A first and see how it turns out. If not accepted by CHS, then go for Mahabodhi.
