Studying Tamil is easy. If you have Tamil channels watch it regularly. I studied a little. but don't know how to write. Its better to buy some language books to study....:)

My DD failed her Tamil despite twice-weekly tutoring. No point going to Foundation because it’s focused on oral, which is not her strength (she scored only one mark for this).

concentrate on the basics of sentence formation first. Train her with the common words ( oli verupadu and vocab) which appear again and again in the practise and test papers.concentrate on compo writing. you have few common sentences which can suit almost all the compos. she can memorise or practise writing those sentences so that she can write atleast a few sentences without any mistake. for oral try to discuss pictures with her. Usually the children will get repeated situations for exams. SO pracitising can make her better in this area. One of my student from english speaking family, with this kind of practise managed to score about 50% in p3, p4 and p5. This year in PSLE (he said the paper was very tough) he got B for Tamil. So don't lose heart. your DD will get good score in PSLE.

                      Hi wonder mom,

My kids are attending a tuition centre now. It promises results in three months. They’re in the second month now. Waiting to see the results at the end of the third month.
                      I don’t speak Tamil so I can’t help.
