Sorry, but got to disagree. We know firsthand of a recent case. Local nationality and T-score exactly at the cut-off of stream A (Choice 1 in ranked order). If comes to the COP, the vacancies is less than the SG citizen applicants, then the system will draw lots among the citizens. Some of the unlucky citizens will not be successful.

Hello, I'm quite new to this platform but would really appreciate all the advice given. My daughter scored 251+3 for hmt and not so sure about the schools she wants to go. We are staying in the north.
1) Rvhs
2) St.nicks O level
3)Cedar girls O level
4)Nan hua high

Not really sure about the last couple choices but would really appreciate any help as I dont really know about sec schools in singapore.

RVHS is in Jurong, Nan Hua in Clenti, and Cedar in Macpherson area.....Dont think you want to travel that far....Seems like St nicks is the nearest to where you are staying

Not a high chance, to be honest. But if u dun try, u never know. The 2nd to 6th options are there anyway if your \"dream\" 1st choice doesn't succeed.

What if we put NJC as first choice and eliminate ACSI (IB) which we are 2 pts off, will we stand a better chance?

Is it just me or are the psle scores very low this year? A friend's daughter who is good at her studies but not the exceptional type, I was expecting her to get 240+ but she got 231. Another friend's son I expected a 260+ but he got 254. I wonder what happened to the kids.

i don’t think so? i’m not very good in my studies and didn’t study as much as i planned to but i got 244 .. and then 2 of my good friends expected 255-258 only but 1 got 256 and the other got 262! and 2 girls in my school got 270+, and much more got 250-269 .. so maybe it depends on the school ??

[Refer to the official news link provided by the other contributor]. => It's determined by the decimals.... The last seat goes to the ranked highest.

May be depends on the school. A neighbourhood school in west area has only 5-7 students (out of 240) scored above 250.
