Hi posting for the first time. Sorry for my noob questions. Can’t seem to find out more about joining as CCC or CCMC which seems very exclusive. Does anyone have any experience to share? If my DD will be in P1 in 2024 is it too late for the RC/NC route?

It’s probably too late. You need 6-12 months observer period and 2 years EM. If you request to be volunteer now, they need some time to reply you also.

Can advise what would be the quickest way now? Online application then call to ask? Feels like submitting to a long queue and the person answering my call probably won’t have access to my form. Or do they accept any walk in enquiries?

Walk in to CC and fill in the form and ask them to expedite.

Thanks!! Sorry another noob question. What position does one have to hold in CCC or CCMC to qualify for phase 2B? Not possible but just for info 🙊 I understand for RC/NC it’s EM status for 2 years.

I wonder if I am open about my intentions with the CC will they expedite and if it’s possible to grant me EM by June next year. Provided with very active involvements in the next 6 months.

Better just tell them to expedite. But i think timing wise, chances are low. Be prepared to disappoint.

Doesn’t matter what position you hold but it’s unlikely (with 99.9% certainty) that you would be accepted into the CCC or CCMC. It’s like walking in to a company and asking to be seated on the Board of Directors.

Must start with the basics - RC / NC (or one of the committee in the CC but those don’t have 2B privilege).
