      Hello Parents,

Do you have any headsup for choosing a padlock?

It seems there are altogether 20 Gates for RI, do you know if all gates will be open for students tapping in the school in the morning and also tapping out for dismissal time?

And what’s the dress code for every school day? Wear uniforms and change PE attire just before PE class and change back uniforms after PE class?

      Thank you!

1.We bought our padlock from sch bookshop. The lady will recommend the correct size.

        2. Not sure. Will be easier if u can list down which gate your boy will be using. During sch term, my boy uses the side gate nearest to Bishan Mrt n Marymount Mrt.

        3. I think the first week attire for Y1 will be given to parents during briefing as it is different from regular days cos is orientation week. Thereafter, generally
. Mon to Thur - Uniform
. Wed (optional) - House T (only buy when notified of House n pls buy the Y1-4 design, not the Y5-6 design) +Uniform shorts
        . Fri - Sch Black Polo T +Uniform shorts

Yes, generally wear uniforms and change PE attire just before PE class and change back uniforms after PE class. But during covid, boys were allowed to wear pe attire to sch but they need to change out to uniform/that day's wear after pe. Pls refer to given notices (if any) for further confirmation, otherwise the boys can double check w their peer leaders if in doubt.

          Hi

May I know if a Sec 1 student in RI was offered and accepted to take MSP (Malay Special Programme) , instead of 3rd language such as Spanish or Japanese which he is also eligible. Is he able to withdraw from MSP anytime? Please advise, thanks.

What is the difference between RSP and MSP?

RSP is the scholarship offered to some MSP students.

There are windows to withdraw from 3rd languages. Either before or after the term/semester.

                  Thanks. Zeal Mummy.

Last question, for RSP, can the student withdraw anytime?

Sorry for asking these questions separately.

RSP: This scholarship is awarded in Secondary 1 and Secondary 3 to students admitted to a Regional Studies Programme.

It is awarded for 4 to 6 years, depending on the year it is awarded. The award covers an allowance of $1,000 and school fees based on Singapore Citizen's rates less any subsidies, subject to annual cap of $2,400, as long as the student meets the renewal criteria and remains enrolled in the Regional Studies Programme. Only Singapore Citizens are eligible.
