Usually end of Jun. Wait for MOE website to be updated.
Hi all, does anyone knows when do i need to change my new address? Based on last year, it was stated by 31 may 2020, but the the Phase 1 registration was 1 July to 2 July , so last date to update address should be 30 june 2020 instead?

it will be a good fit for him
Hi all SG50 parents!
The family is overseas now and looking to return SG around 2023. But understand that I will still require to ballot a school for my SG50 boy. Am planning to go for Maha Bodhi but looking at the stats, it seems to have low chance as we are in phase 2C and 1-2km from school. Should I even try for Maha Bodhi or not waste my chance at all?
Alternatively is to go for Tanjong Katong pri, phase 2C 1-2km from school. Most likely should be able to get in without any ballot. My boy will be returning to SG from an international school overseas. so thinking TKPS may be a better/easier fit for them to adapt (from where he comes from). Anyone from TKPS can share your experience with the school or culture of the school?
Thanks lots for the help!
TKPS has a very international/expat feel as a school -
May I ask if i enrol my child in school "A" under Phase 1 and depending on the enrollment stats of school B and would want to switch my child to register under Phase 2B of school "B". will School A be able to deregister/withdraw my application on the day of request? I would like to know if there will be enough time to register at later phase, from the time of request to withdraw from previous phase to completion of withdrawal.

If can register in person this year, the withdrawal in school A in person will be quick and you can proceed to School B to register. If online registration, need to email/call and it might take time, probably can be done within the same day but give a good few hours buffer.

Thanks for your advice. I am also conscious that all withdrawal and registration might still be done online given we are still dorscon orange hence the concern o the timeline for withdrawal.

Assuming no walk-ins (and yes highly likely online registration this year, erring on the side of caution) - your most “up to date” info on the number of applicants would be the night of Phase 2B Day 1. Schools won’t know (or release) the latest hourly info on Day 2 anyway.
So why wait till time ticks away on Day 2 to withdraw? Make the decision at night on Day 1, so that you can withdraw (or not) first thing in the morning on Day 2. There will be ample time for school to process it if u withdraw at say 9am. -
Can I check what is the duration that we must stay in the address to use for registration?

Usually it’s 30 months commencing from end of June (the year you register your child). Exact start date will be released by MOE before Phase 1 registration starts.

But let say we have to move house in Oct (the year we register) to a place of same distance as first address used or closer and plan to stay in the new home for the next 30 months, it is allowed right? Thanks
