If u are talking about Catholic High School, the bulk of the phase 2B applicants are Catholic Church members, not GRL. But u will be competing in the same phase. 2B always ballots at <1km for 20 places btw.
Just realized Catholic is under Marymount GRC, anyone know does it affect this year registered 2B? It is small area, hope this year 2B no ballot. -

Electoral boundary doesn’t concern Catholic Church members affiliation. The number of Catholics far outnumber the number of GRL.Zhenshan\" post_id=\"2016747\" time=\"1614946048\" user_id=\"153303:If u are talking about Catholic High School, the bulk of the phase 2B applicants are Catholic Church members, not GRL. Sorry, side track, how do you know the composition of association/GRL/PV in 2B of each school? Where can we find this info? Is it available?

No. But if you state the school someone on KSP will probably know the answer (roughly).

Hi All,
I am newbie here, would like to get some advices from here about GRL matter. I have served the old RC for 2 years, and now I have moved to the new address where we target the primary school and will apply it this year. So, could you please advise me for followings:
1) When I changed the address if I need to inform my old RC CM? As I worried that they will discontinue my EM, previously, I have talked with CM I wanted to move house due to P1 registration, and CM said due to COVID 19, our RC is not enough 20 members, so, can’t assign non-residence member continuing to serve in the RC. May i know is it the same as the other RC did like that?
2)How the chairman can assign the non-residence member still as EM in old RC?
3)When I update my address, if the PA system will pop-up sth to inform CM to deactivate my EM status?
4)Where can I see my address has been updated in PA website?
Thanks -

I think it is best to talk to your Chairman and CM regarding changing of address to new house as once you change address, you are non resident to the previous estate and RC have the right to axe you from the committee.
EM won't be discontinued after change address. It is separate thing. You MUST change address when you move residence.Zhenshan\" post_id=\"2013552\" time=\"1611883831\" user_id=\"153303:
Hi Skii,
sorry newbie here, don't know how to reply your post. Thanks a lot for your information. Last time we can go to NPC to change address, and PA will update address within 28days. But now, we can only change address online. So I'm not sure when should I change my address (maybe latest by April). And also after reading previous comments, I'm worried about if change the address, they will discontinued my EM. Do I must contact CM and ask his advise? -

All I can say is remember which hat you are wearing. Both are on different agendas
Yes,
MPS is a Political session
while the RC is under PA.
If you have been around these events. you will realize that it is the same people that runs them.
We are both committed to serving the residents and helping them. -

1. Usually is the opposite, if RC is filled to the brim with many observers waiting to convert to EM then unlikely they will keep non-residence member as need to free up slots to include new EMs.

2. Sometimes chairman don't make the call, it is the CM/CD
3. PA is in the list of GOV agencies that will be updated upon change of address.
4. Usually within 1~2 weeks, can be faster nowadays with online changing.
Hope the above help to clarify. -
Regardless of which ‘hat’
The aim is to help the residents .
At the RC side - we are bringing our governments’ policy to the ground.
We help the residents to understand the different government policies and clarify their doubts.
We help our advisors to understand the ground.
We also organize different events to foster greater community spirit - and unity
We serve the community
During the MPS sessions, it is more proactive.
Residents come forward with their different issues, and we will help them with the aid of our MP, to seek help from the different agencies. This is more direct help - as the residents do have issues, and they might not know where and whom they can turn to.
Here, together with the RC, we can reach out to them to support and guide them.
Regardless - we are still serving the community - the people that needs help in the area.
That is more important to us.
