      titank:
Yes 1/2 hour on Montessori Phonics & 1/2 hour on Montessori Maths. Maybe this teacher really have experience.Max group size is 3 in a group.

For 30mins per subject, charging 40 per hour
regardless of what the class size is like... http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php

How long will the entire programme
      take to complete?

        I've replied your PM, titank.

Your 1st choice is so far ok,
can be considered since it is
        for the long run. 😄

          Hi buds & titank,

What first & second choice? Can share with me? I have replied all your pm in the inbox. You meant the programme has a dateline, like got to be completed in 12 months, something like that?

Hi Jav, titank just wanna weigh the different available options

from his recce. The \"option\" we were talking about was his
lobang, so i will let him tell you more about it. 😉

Not exactly a deadline, but a rough estimate of the duration
for the entire programme to be completed. If it is ongoing,
then it would be difficult to move on from a reading pgrm
to say... a writing programme... or a comprehension
            pgrm (etc).

A small group with older children can usually complete much
faster as compared to a small group / big group of 4 yr olds.
Older children are more mature and require less assistance
for activities and written assignments as compared to the
young cutie ones. The duration of completion also highly
depends on the group's abilities. For 1-to-1 coaching,
the children usually can go much much faster due
to the individual attention and plus there is no
need to conform to a group's pace.. this agn
depends on the individual abilities of the
            children.

Hope this helps. Btw, i have replied to your last PM, Jav. 😄

hi, i’ve just called up icreativelearner, wanting to sign up my boy who’s in K1 for their course. However they can only start the new class when there are at least 6 children. Right now, there are only 4 in the list. Class schedule is Mon 530-7pm. 290 for 8 lessons. Do call up the centre at clement west if you want to sign up your child who’s born in 2005.

I heard alot about this Icreativelearner program, think they are effective in their pre-schoolers program.

Don't worry about phonics for your baby as yet. :hugs:
There are many things that can be done @ home with
with your baby either with self-prepared materials or
those bought in the stores. 😉

I'd suggest picture flashcards and matching, learning
alphabets using knobbed puzzles (to develop good
pincer grip for future writing) and also using songs
and rhymes to teach letter sounds. Children who are
proficient in their ABCs first tend to be faster phonics
learners... from my personal experience. They will not
get easily confused between letter and letter sounds. 😄

                        Just sharing. 😄
