It’s my girl first year in Nygh. Can I check is there any parent portal for Nygh? Is there any website provided by Nygh on past year papers they can practice on? And for MOE ISB will we be updated on the status of our application?

Yes there is a portal for both students and parents. This will be provided to you by the school.
It's essentially the same portal but with different logins to access different parts, eg. Parents portion has consent/ change in particulars, etc. The students' portion will have those past year papers you are asking about. School results and progress reports are also in this portal.

Hi parents. Any idea which are the SBGE classes for Sec One 2020?

it's 103, 105, 111 & 112 iirc.

111 is hmp + gep
112 is aep + gep


edit: apologies, this is for Sec one 2021. however I'm under the impression that it would be somewhat similar for the sec 2s this year.

According to my DD, quite a few teachers said the test was either easy or marking was lenient since this is the 1st WA for upper secondary. So my DD bracing for tougher subsequent WAs. Lol.

Would like to get some advice from parents when your dd does subject selection, what was her basis of choosing the subject she likes eg Science , double , triple, advance ...as they do not have clear idea on their career aspiration ( at least for mine) . How do you decide what subjects to choose ? Do most students take triple science in NYGH or an average of 9 subjects ? TIA :grphug:
