If your child is btwn 16-18, MOH’s policy is they will be given Moderna, only thing not all clinic carries the Moderna vaccine. You need to check.

Frontliners & elderlies hv foremost priority until they’ve all be done. Elderly’s priority does not enable the non-priority group to expend the vaccine. But eventually, all shld hv their vaccine done within the year unless some incident emerge.

According to https://www.vaccine.gov.sg/health-advisory/, the vaccine is not recommended for the following:

- Pregnant women
- Individuals below 16 years of age for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and individuals below 18 years of age for the Moderna vaccine
- Persons with a severely weakened immune system
- Persons with a history of a life-threatening allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)

You’re right. I was a little too fast w/o including Pfizer in the equation. Not all clinic carries both vaccines. Still hv to check before heading down.

Do you mean in the future? ‘Cos I thought below 60 years old cannot be vaccinated yet. Must wait until Govt announce.

A volunteer shared how the vaccination Centres will prepare the vaccines according to the number registered for the day. However, there are still ppl not turning up & these vaccines cannot be wasted. Some ppl took these opportunity to ‘jump Q’ standing in wait just before end of day closing.
