      Hi,

Looking for a Chinese home tutor for my P4 (2021) girl around Woodlands area.
Tutor has to be very patient as her standard is quite poor.
Need to also be able to build her interest in the language as well as her main speaking language is English.

Does anyone has a Chinese Tutor to recommend for p3. My kid is very weak in Chinese and hates Chinese to the core. Cannot remember chinese words for long and had difficulty reading them. I have tried many ways like flashcards and pictures to help him in remembering but doesn’t seems to be working. We are living in Serangoon area. Appreciate.

One important thing that I like to share is that it is still important for us as parents to help our kids with the subject by conversing more with them at home if possible. Languages are often improved through exposure. Just my 2 cents worth of advice 🙂

Anyhow, you can PM me if any of you need recommendation for a chinese home tutor (not sure whether she is available due to her tight schedule).

                        Dear Parents,

I used to perceive negatively about online teaching as my child wasn’t paying attention during school learning and other subjects’ tuition. My opinion for online learning changes, when I changed to this Chinese language tutor who teaches my son online. My husband and I opt for online lesson due to pandemic; we believe that safety is more important.
His teaching is very engaging and interactive. He will also ask my child Higher level thinking question to stretch him and this aid his growth. To my amazed, my boy actually enjoys his lesson, when he is someone who doesn’t like the subject since young. Overtime I also see his improvement and in fact his scoring for SA2 caught me by surprise. Surprisingly good!
One thing that is commendable about this teacher is that he gave my boy quite a lot of extra time when teaching him online, in which I am grateful about, he also shared with me that he is not calculative over time, because since he saves the time from traveling, may as well give it back to the kid and make sure he understands the lesson. l like the way he takes on the responsibilities. My boy is comfortable with him in terms of interactions, learning pace and time allowance. Our teacher is Mr Lim. 97279365.
