He tried again this morning & awhile ago. Still no response. Maybe u both got log in at the right time!
Ask him to register again. My husband and I also registered last night, and got no response. This morning, on a friend's suggestion, we registered again this morning, and got a nearly immediate SMS response, saying we would be informed when slots are available. I think there was something wrong last night, or maybe the system was overloaded.Estéema\" post_id=\"2018405\" time=\"1616647701\" user_id=\"66413:
Hubby also hv not rec’d response when he registered last night, at 1am and this morning. This is very unlike when I registered mine. It was almost immediate.

I know this is possible overseas. People will wait at the vaccination centres to try their luck if there are any vaccines to be discarded and can be offered to those waiting at the centres.
Did your child eventually go to China? I wonder if China would be so nasty as to impose a vaccine-specific restriction as basis for granting quarantine/PCR/visa waivers for overseas visitors entering China, be it for work or study.
My better half is worried that China might do this to ''tekan'' business travellers so has hesitated to register for current available brands.

It has sparked uncertainty in India, where there are no Chinese vaccines, and Thailand, where inoculations are progressing slowly\"

\"China is making it easier for foreigners to enter the country. But there's one condition: they need to have received a China-made Covid-19 vaccine.
At least 23 Chinese embassies around the world issued new visa policies over the past week with this condition, including in the United States and United Kingdom -- both places where Chinese vaccines aren't available.\" -
Regarding leftover vaccines, my SIL who’s a volunteer at one of the centres was fortunate to take hers when there was some vaccine left at the end of day.
I recall reading a news article which mentioned SG does have a waitlist of staff who will get their jabs early if there’s any leftover. -

I know a lot of my volunteer friends were totally missed out & now hv to Q after elderly & frontline priorities. I feel for them coz they’re still volunteering & very much exposed.

Even though I have pre-registered some time back and my phase has started, am already mentally prepared to hold back my vaccination till a later date to see how things develop. Would like to accompany her over.
Read somewhere that the quantity available is quite small. But it is enough.
Thanks for asking. -
My dh took S. And I m in a way hope to take that too…one of the reasons is also read easier for travel visa?? That’s why hesitating to register now.

Thks for your reply. Actually it's not just China. We need to go to HK more, then into SZ and SH. HK is no longer the same HK. Hope HK recognise P or M. HK just suspended BioNTech.

Heard Gan said the first batch that came in a month ago is only 200,000 doses. I have the feeling they will grant provisional approval after most adults have taken P and M. I also suspect S is reserved for the FDWs or MWs. -

If there's a fast lane, of course pp will take S.

If no fast lane, it's a hassle to fly in and out China, even if you have the P or M vaccine passport.
I think this is something Gan and Wong must think through. What are the chances of China punishing those who don't believe in their vaccine?...in my spouse's words, 万一他们耍狠怎么办?
