After resigning ourselves to wait longer, my husband and I just received the booking link and we have booked our vaccination appointments - for tomorrow morning! We don't mind either brand, so we are getting the Moderna one (Radin Mas CC). Looks like Moderna is not so favoured. Other places nearer our home have earliest slots a week or 2 later.
My husband's colleague also tried to book a slot at Radin Mas CC. However, the earliest timing he was given was like 1-2 weeks away. I wonder why. :?

Demographics ard Radin Mas is different from newer towns. Have not been to this part for a long time, even buses go slower for the seniors there. Mostly are seniors, could be most hv taken jab in the earlier batches.

I took an hr public transport to reach radin Mas cc of my preference. Queue keep moving very swiftly, more than 12 jab stations.

Arm is not sore anymore. Crossed fingers

Oh I didn’t know you can opt for Radin mas CC even if you’re not living close by. Interesting.

Tg pagar cc hv Sat n Sun slots. Easy to knows which shot u getting. Pfizer (TPCC) is 3wks later for 2nd shot. Moderna (RMCC) is 4wks later.

That's strange - we just looked to see which was the earliest and nearby (we input our postal code), and Radin Mas was there at the top of the list. Maybe there were slots reserved for certain groups which weren't taken up and just released?

When booking an appointment, you can either input your postal code, or just look for the earliest available. I put in my postal code, and the list started with the earliest slots in places reasonably nearby, then went on down to places further away and/or with longer waits. Not sure exactly how the algorithm works. For us, although there were places nearer to our home, they would involve a wait of 1-2 weeks or longer; Radin Mas is further away, but the earliest, and it came at the top of the list.

For us, the end point is about the same - we could have got the PB jab in a week's time, or the M today. We thought we might as well just do it since neither of us has anything urgent on today. Who knows what might crop up next week?

U will know which vaccine u will be given by the site u choose. It's on moh website.
At the cc, u will be given the booklet on it to read more abt it too. I was given for M.

Not really matter to those who have no preference. My nearest M is radin mas

Just got back from Radin Mas. Very smooth and efficient - we were in and out in 1 hr, including the 30-min wait after the jab. So far no side effects of any sort, not even a sore arm.
