I don't think age or registering repeatedly makes any difference. Once the person has been registered, he probably joins a waiting list and he has to wait his turn.slmkhoo\" post_id=\"2019657\" time=\"1617780973\" user_id=\"28674:
My colleague who is same age as me, yet to receive the booking link despite registering a few times.
My husband and I registered minutes apart (he did his first) on 25 March and received the confirmation SMS (he got his first). A few days ago, because someone said that re-registering would speed things up, I tried again but my husband didn't. Last night, the booking link was sent to us, again minutes apart, but he got his first! I believe that those who registered more than once were probably also the ones who got their first registration in early, and hence got the booking link early too.
Forum: How is registration for Covid-19 vaccination managed?
PUBLISHED7 HOURS AGO
FACEBOOKTWITTER
My husband and I are Singaporeans in the 45 to 59 age group who registered our interest to be vaccinated a few weeks ago (Covid-19 jabs to be extended to those below 45 from June, April 6).
We live in the east and have yet to be invited to make an appointment. Yet, we know of other Singaporeans living a few streets away who were invited to make their appointments even though they registered their interest later than us - including someone who got a slot the day after registering interest.
We also know of long-term pass holders under the age of 45 living in other parts of Singapore who registered their interest a month ago, and who have been invited to make an appointment.
It seems like the procedures are inconsistent, and it appears that the queues are decentralised and managed separately.
Surely in this digital age, it is not difficult to have a centralised queueing system to ensure an efficient and equitable roll-out of the vaccines?
Yap Tai Perng
Yes, I saw this earlier today too! Unless the authorities make a statement explaining the algorithm, I guess it will be speculation on our part! -
Received my first jab yesterday at Hong Kah N CC staffed by RafflesMedical. Very systematic and well organised. In and out in 45 minutes and given a box of free disposable mask too. Couple of hours later the vaccination record also available at Healthhub app! I had intended to book a slot at the VC nearer to my home but it was fully booked and decided not to wait since slots are available at Hong Kah N CC. It is good to see that people are supporting the vaccination effort and voice their observation on seemingly inconsistent appointment booking processes. Not sure how the processes work but I guess MOH will try to slot everyone in as soon as possible.

maybe the \"long term pass holder\" is a frontline worker or essential service worker or those professions that recently added into the vaccination list
what is a \"long term pass holder\" ? :?: -

It was a Chinese made masks and the Chinese words on it were so big haha. Not use to see merchandise with big Chinese words but appreciate the sponsor nevertheless. I would thought RafflesMedical was the one giving but it make sense now that you mentioned it could be PA. Thanks.

We were at Radin Mas CC yesterday, and didn't get any freebies! We just left with the MOH handout about the vaccine, and the paper stating our vaccination and next appointment. But I agree, they were very well-organised and everything went smoothly.
