“ NUS Medicine offers 280 places annually and shortlists approximately 1200 candidates for the admissions assessment.
All 1200 candidates are ranked based on their scores for the FSA and SJT and the top 280 candidates will be offered a place in NUS Medicine.
The subsequent 70 candidates will be placed on the NUS Medicine reserve list. Candidates on the reserve list will be notified of their status via email.

Basically it is a waiting list. Some of the first 280 offer holders may give up their offers due to their preference for LKC or overseas uni.

Do they still look at RP after shortlisted for interview? Thought admission is decided based on how well one performs during the FSA & SJT?
definitely. One previous year parent said most RP90 student will get in unless they dont spoil the FSA/?SJT too badly. -

This is how every one said. But FSA/SJT looks no tough. Face to face interview they talk about NS for 25 mins. Not sure how they going to decide 😢

I have the same doubt , when a student apply for both medicines, universities get notified ? NUS knows that the student attending NTU interview also ?
do the medicine faculty know the dentistry is interviewing? so will the decison of the 2 faculties affect who they accept? will they say the candidate has a chance with dentistry, they will not offer medicine?Tanlines\" post_id=\"2018867\" time=\"1617019648\" user_id=\"102146:

That explains why some students may receive various offers from the same Uni but different faculties or offers from other Uni all at the same time.

Hence some students could be spoilt for choice deciding which offer to accept 😄 -
Really? I had thought every local uni only give one offer to each applicant.
