Anybody has been to Kolam Ayer CC for the jab? Which vaccine is being given?
My 1st and 2nd dosage is 28 days apart so it should be M? But this CC is not the 4 offering M vaccine so I wonder if they have roll out in more than the 4 CCs.

https://www.vaccine.gov.sg/locations-vcs

I think this is one of the new sites that had not been announced yet that would start from mid apr, same as potong pasir cc too, offering M

Yup, they've not announced the 7 new M centres yet.
Kolam Ayer, Potong Pasir, Tamp E., Kebun Baru, Buona Vista, Yew Tee, Woodlands.

Was told if you have mature domestic helpers aged 45-59, they can register too using their FIN.
But I reckon there'll be more FDWs in the subsequent younger age groups, e.g. 20-45.

WPs in other sectors will be facilitated/registered through their employers apparently.
https://www.vaccine.gov.sg/locations-vcs

61733 work pass holder from UK, thought we barred non citizens from UK since 23 Dec ?

https://www.mfa.gov.sg/Overseas-Mission/London/Announcements/Frequently-Asked-Questions-for-Travellers-to-Singapore

Visitors to Singapore

There have been recent reports of a more contagious strain of the COVID-19 virus circulating in the UK. Officials within the UK are also concerned about this new virus and have put in place more stringent restrictions, including imposing the third national lockdown in London. To reduce the risks of spread to Singapore, there will be new border restrictions for travellers from UK for further precaution. From 23 Dec 20, 2359H, until further notice:

All long-term pass holders and short-term visitors with recent travel history to the UK within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore, or transit through Singapore. This will also apply to all those who had obtained prior approval for entry into Singapore.

Long post from Ho Chin but a lot of information on booking slots and the supply of vaccines. Apparently, gov didn't expect almost half of eligible cohort of 45-59 to sign up within first few days and this also caused those previously didn't sign up pioneer and merdeka generation to quickly sign up. The supply of vaccines have also slowdown for April and May. These caused some within 45-59 cohort to have to wait longer to book their vaccine shots.

I don't think age or registering repeatedly makes any difference. Once the person has been registered, he probably joins a waiting list and he has to wait his turn.

My husband and I registered minutes apart (he did his first) on 25 March and received the confirmation SMS (he got his first). A few days ago, because someone said that re-registering would speed things up, I tried again but my husband didn't. Last night, the booking link was sent to us, again minutes apart, but he got his first! I believe that those who registered more than once were probably also the ones who got their first registration in early, and hence got the booking link early too.

https://www.straitstimes.com/opinion/forum/forum-how-is-registration-for-covid-19-vaccination-managed

Forum: How is registration for Covid-19 vaccination managed?
PUBLISHED7 HOURS AGO
FACEBOOKTWITTER
My husband and I are Singaporeans in the 45 to 59 age group who registered our interest to be vaccinated a few weeks ago (Covid-19 jabs to be extended to those below 45 from June, April 6).

We live in the east and have yet to be invited to make an appointment. Yet, we know of other Singaporeans living a few streets away who were invited to make their appointments even though they registered their interest later than us - including someone who got a slot the day after registering interest.

We also know of long-term pass holders under the age of 45 living in other parts of Singapore who registered their interest a month ago, and who have been invited to make an appointment.

It seems like the procedures are inconsistent, and it appears that the queues are decentralised and managed separately.

Surely in this digital age, it is not difficult to have a centralised queueing system to ensure an efficient and equitable roll-out of the vaccines?

Yap Tai Perng

Yes, I saw this earlier today too! Unless the authorities make a statement explaining the algorithm, I guess it will be speculation on our part!
https://www.todayonline.com/voices/after-registering-interest-covid-19-vaccination-booking-granted-first-come-first-served-basis?fbclid=IwAR2r6herGmh328qyPV0uHo3ow2DuUqn8SZF1AjNoHoMFceMy5a2zBR-zmYI

There are 2 Woodlands VCs, so I'm not sure if it's the Woodlands Galaxy CC at 31 Woodlands Avenue 6, Singapore 738991, that's giving M, or the other Woodlands CC giving P. As I didn't catch the call centre guy's voice clearly over the phone.

Imp75's BIL might have booked Woodlands.

Also I was surprised to hear my bro in law was only offered woodlands cc and no other vaccination centre options. He's in the 45-59 group. Just registered last few days.
There's a long list of VCs to pick, including private GPs. Did he scroll down the menu? How come only 1 option for him?

For some VC options, they'll indicate ''few slots left'' + their earliest available dates. Some VCs could have slots as early as the very next day.

However, on the VC list page, they won't tell you if they are AM or PM slots. They will only indicate the earliest available date at each VC. You will select the VC+date, then you are brought to the next page to pick the timings.

Sometimes, the date you pick might not have AM slots left, so you go ''back'' page again to reselect.

Sometimes the preferred timing you pick might be snatched by another person who's also booking real-time (\"Your 1st appointment time is not available\" message) , so you go ''back'' page and reselect.

Yes I clarified with bil. He conveniently picked the top choice as its the soonest. Not realising it is M. I am thinking why so eager to take lol šŸ˜†
