I’m looking at pre-order for Teacher’s Day presents…last year we gave fabric face masks customized with their names…this year new batch of teachers, I guess can order same thing? I don’t foresee September suddenly don’t need to wear masks right…sad lah this situation ongoing for so long…

Just read a letter inviting us to apply for Edu Merit Award…with presentation ceremony date. Need to apply?? CC opening at 10am, will call later. Letter dated end Apr. Looks like merit award but wny so late.

Think will need mask for a 'longer' time. Very practical gifts.

Congrats! Ya I see my FB friends some still having photo taking with MPs very recently. I think they had to spread out the ceremonies over several months due to capacity limits and SMM etc.

Your girls doing well lah, even without much nagging haha.

It is a pleasant surprise. But better confirm before telling her to avoid disappointment. She just being lucky up to last year. Believe me haha.

We don't have any preference. If they say mail then by mail lor like last year. This year we shall see ba based on next ltr. Dd haven't received anything before..she only see her classmates receiving certs for Honours day kinda thing.

This morning busy calling and making appointments. I guess due to current situation ba, I could get earlier slots from cancelled health check appts.

Today DS said the Math teacher told one boy, if he doesn’t work harder on his multiplication (couldn’t answer mental calculation of how to make denominator of 1/4 and 3/7 the same) - then next year P6 he will have to go to another class.


Qn: they are already in MA class. As far as I know there’s no P5 Foundation form class in the school. So does that mean P6 will have Foundation form class? Asking whether it’s the norm for most schools. Or is Foundation subjects usually on a SBB basis, ie. the kids will move around to different classrooms?
