I was overly confident last night..went to ntuc after 8pm to buy chicken and coconut milk..empty shelves. Luckily can find coconut milk at CS though no more chicken too. Nasi lemak with fish and frozen food instead.

The ntuc in Hillion Mall is well stocked. I bought the usual stuff to last for the rest of the week. Both dh and dd will be at home for the whole week. I will need to cook more often.

Last check there is still a lot of stocks ..toilet rolls. 😛

Qn: they are already in MA class. As far as I know there’s no P5 Foundation form class in the school. So does that mean P6 will have Foundation form class? Asking whether it’s the norm for most schools. Or is Foundation subjects usually on a SBB basis, ie. the kids will move around to different classrooms?
We have had weaker kids move to another class before. However from the tone of it, the teacher seems like he is trying to “scare” the boy into working harder.
Yes sounds like it. The teacher did mention he might have to take Foundation Maths. The kid didn’t really grasp the implications. DS said he did try to help explaining how to do some problem sums but the boy’s eyes were drifting off into dreamland. I really wonder do some kids get enough sleep, many of them simply put their heads down on the table and sleep thru the lessons. Or show up 1 hour late in the mornings. When they are called upon to answer, totally blur.
Probably lack of sleep.. Some kids have too many tuition/enrichment commitments.

Thank you Zeal mummy. Notification really late compared to last time. Anyways it is postponed as of now. I guess maybe be just cert/voucher by mail

Actually safer to mail.. since lots of kids are affected these days. This strain seem to be affecting kids more.

My priorities are snacks, Icecream and Maggie mee. Lol. So wrong 😑

Maybe a good time to install a bidet.

There's different levels of \"cook\" - I had a compromise with my family during CB which we will go back to. I will \"cook\" 3-4 lunches a week and one of them will dabao the other days. But my \"cook\" means easy stuff - jiaozi and instant noodles, breads with oven-baked frozen meats or tuna or whatever, \"breakfast\" of fried eggs and luncheon meat, fried beehoon, reheated leftovers, etc. We just get tired of the stuff nearby, and we aren't the ordering in type.

I will cook all the dinners, but again, my standard is 1 dish + rice. A much lower standard than most families!

When I went to ntuc cashier to make payment…I told her aiyo chicken/coconut milk dont have le…and she told me yesterday was crowded…and we both agree no need buy so much. But to be fair to go to a smaller ntuc after 8pm to look for fresh chicken I think it is my mistake la. Fruits/veg mostly ok.

Cooking simple meals dont need alot of time. What's more we cooking for usually 2 meals at one go. I tried ordering from online then walk out self collect..more time consuming eventho I take walking as a form of exercise ie do 2 things at one go.
