Thank you. They only gave my son 2 days to accept the offer and he is not the type who check the status everyday. So all candidates on waiting list should check daily.

Any suggestion for choosing between Dentistry and Medicine, especially for girls?

Many years after graduation, my doctor friends are still envying their dental surgeon friends for their work-life balance, getting off work on-time at regular hours and (far) better hourly pay. So that could be what it is if we think of life long-term.
A close contact applied to both NUS Medicine & Dentistry two years ago. In the end, he got the Med interview but was rejected by Dentistry even without an interview - he said the cut off point was higher for Dentistry. He’s so set on Dentistry, tried again and eventually got in!

Work-life balance (after graduation) is the primary consideration for my DD's decision.
My DS is in the final year of Med School, can feel his stress thinking about MO / Residency and the peer pressure / competition...
I guess dentist can plan their vacation better (short or long) than the GP as patient visits are by prior appointment. Dr need to specialize, only in their late 30s can have better work-life, I suppose.
