Fren once shared that her DD's fren was only offered in July then.
hello, for those on the waitlist (NUS), if not offered up till now after the two batches (the week of 24th May, and 8th June), does that mean that chances are they wont be offered for this year? -

Does anyone know if ntu waitlist offers will ever come haha

I am a parent of my DS from Kiasu Parents Medicine 2020/2021. My DS was put on NTU waitlist and the very final late outcome came nearing the middle of July. Someone’s DD got selected and my DS was not succeasful after such a long nail biting wait. YLLSoM completed their waitlist finalization roughly a week earlier then LKCSoM.
We were sad but accepted the outcome. He is in NS and will ORD this year 2021. Probably he will try applying for Medicine again via ABAS next year 2022. His time during NS training has given him some hands on first aids administration and also great insights into how our SAF Doctors skillfully administer to those soldiers who were sick or injured during training.
So do not be dispair if one is not successful after the wait. If you have great love for practising medicine, try applying again if you still get another chance. -
The LKC Medicine wait list results are out~! My kid’s friend just heard from them today. Good luck all !

After much prayers, my DD jus got offered ntu waitlist. Hallelujah !

Congrats to all supportive parents !
For those who are still in waitlist, hang on there.
Past years, there were always ‘few’ being offered at the very last minute (July), before medsku starts in August.
Possible reasons are someone withdraw from it or decided to go overseas…no one actually knows except for admission registry in school.
For those applied and not being shortlisted for interview this year, consider taking a gap-year, use the time wisely to build up the portfolio…
I knew someone gotten a place in 2nd attempt (1st time was not call up for interview).
Fact is, the GP was a ‘C’ !
The different was the portfolio, volunteered for many related works and some with fantastic testimonies.
The submission was very well organized with the gap year.
Applicants for medsku usually can list many academic achievement/awards…
Not many can list meaningful volunteering works while they are in JC/IB.
So, for those academically qualified but missed out this year, self-check if med is your calling.
Do not rush into accepting another course unless exhausted all chances.
A fren told me, the DD with perfect RP did not even get a shot at interviews/tests (few years back).
Enrolled into the next best course and is doing well, but, not getting into medsku has always been a regret…Gap year wasn’t consider during their time.
Have a thought…The GAP YEAR is really worth thoughts. -
Hi, anyone knows those who are in the NTU medicine waiting list have got a reply yet?
