How is the school culture comparing Bukit Timah PS / New Town PS / Clementi PS?

I know not that I have a lot of option anyway, but just curious to know.

Yes, checked on Onemap. No school within 1km.

You can consider BTPS or NTPS for phase 2C. Clementi Primary can consider, they have 40 more spots this year than last year.

I suggest you take a look thru the school websites of the 3 schools and compare a bit. Sometimes the principal’s welcome message, or the activities that the school chooses to feature on their website, will give some clues as to the school culture. I do not know the latest about these schools personally.


NTPS is currently building a 5 or 6 storey extension to their school building, but I doubt it will be ready by Jan 2022.

Before the last day, parents are still able to strategise and make/change their decisions. Hence, the daily update.

For the last day, registration for the phase is officially closed. There's nothing parents can do even if MOE updates the data on the evening of the last day. So, might as well take this time to verify all applications and present an accurate data at a slightly later date.[/quote]

Seems like they really don't update on the final day. They didn't update for yesterday. What you say makes perfect sense. Just hope that isn't some big surprise (big jump in numbers) when they update on 5 Jul, Monday

For the distance criteria, does the balloting take into consideration the applications’ individual exact distance away from school or do they see it all together under the broad category of <1km, 1-2km and >2km ?

Unfortunately, question like this is impossible to answer. Your criteria used to measure “better” may differs from mine.

Furthermore, Kellock is in Bukit Merah and Canossa is in Geylang. They are not that close to one another. The “better” school is probably the one nearest to you.
