Yes I agree that the efforts to reach out should be targeted at the yet-to-be converted.

My parents are not highly educated, but they do speak English. I think one thing that scared them was church friends and missionaries living overseas many of whom caught Covid-19.
According to the statements so far, it seems like the vaccination rates among the teenager group is high?

My parents and in laws needed zero persuasion. They registered for vaccines on their own accord the minute it was open to them. Prior to Covid - each set of parents were travelling out of Singapore at least 5 times a year for holidays, and they also frequenty went to JB for day trips. They can't wait to travel again. They also watched enough youtube videos of the tragedies in hospitals in US/Europe - enough to scare them.

Same for my parents. It helps that they are highly educated and literate in English, and they want life to go back to normal asap. They don't listen to me much, but will listen to my brother (a doctor) who is strongly pro-vaccination. So I think that if their GPs tell the elderly to be vaccinated, it may carry more weight than if their children tell them.

Yes, helps if parents are more educated & opened. There are many who are not as well informed, so hv to try play our part as ‘outsider’ to chip in a positive encouragement. Just went out to get the QuickVue covid test kit for my entire family. Otw, saw many resident going abt their Bz not knowing, so I raised my cheerful tone to get them quickly pick up their test kit as only distributing today & tmr. Also asked if they had their vaccination too. Hope it helps give them the community all do together spirit.

Clementi, West Coast, Tiong Bahru & Telok Blangah. Only know these few. Think many more just don’t know others. Basically coz some ppl at mkt tested positive so they’re trying to let residents around test themselves. We’ve received no notice but by-word-of-mouth

                  You can check this website.

It may be better if they open up the collection to all as even though one may not have gone to the markets, may still unknowingly catch the infection from neighbours in the estate.

I checked but all the listed collection venues are far from my home.

Maybe not your RC/NC yet? I also don't see mine when I checked ytd. Anyway, I've already bought 2 boxes weeks ago.

For Quickvue, are there 2 swabs in each box?
