Did they mention how the < 12 year olds will be treated for vaccination status? I.e. not vaccinated because not eligible still means subject to not vaccinated cohort rules? Or still TBD?

Just looked at Figure 8 in last night's MOH press release. Did you guys notice something weird?

            There's 1 FULLY VACCINATED confirmed case 0yo - 11yo!

Where did this preschooler/primary school pupil get his/her jab from? Sinovac (3-17yo) in China?!

Looks like this was corrected in the 25 July update.

I don’t really know how to read the graphs (or maybe don’t want to strain my eyes).

Do u mind pointing out to me what the correction was?

Do u mind pointing out to me what the correction was?[/quote]On the 24 July release there was one local case in the 0-11 age group that had been \"fully vaccinated.\" Hence, the question of where this person was jabbed. However, the 25 July release shows all cases in the 0-11 age group as \"completely unvaccinated.\"

Not meant to point out or harp on any errors. More the question referenced above (where jabbed).

Thanks! So they had made a typo error. Nothing scary after all.

I was curious too. Certain data concerning our kids’ age groups just makes us go wha…? It’s good they corrected it.

While it’s normal to have typo error, it’s not normal to change the statistic like that. A few days ago, MOH published that 5 kids need oxygen support /ICU before rectifying the error. Does not speak well of their data keeping and processes with many typo errors so regularly lah.

On the other hand, I wonder whether it is really a typo? I was thinking if there could be a P6 kid who caught Covid recently and the kid happened to be fully vaccinated and born in say Nov/Dec 2009, then strictly speaking, this P6 kid should fall under the 0-11yo category!

I think I recall seeing somewhere that for the P6 group, only those born in the first half of the year (ie already turned 12 by June 2021) could take the vaccine.

Those born in the 2nd half of 2009 (July-Dec) still not their turn yet.

I’m not fully certain the rollout progress for P6 11 year olds right now though.

Because the PSLE orals and prelims are fairly soon, I would expect that many parents will want to hold off the vaccination till the PSLE is over. MOH/MOE may only start the vaccination for the younger P6's after the PSLE.
