Covid cases in Israel are falling sharply after mass booster vaccine rollout while hospital admissions continue to trend downwards - but UK's jab watchdog is still not convinced everyone needs a third dose

I start to feel numb with the rise and fall on number of cases

Can someone help explain one of the new measures introduced?

What is the meaning of whole company WFH for all staff for 14 days if one employee in office during past 7 days is tested positive?

Does this include F&B and retail shops in shopping mall?

Say a company has 5 staff working in the office. If one of them is positive, then all the 4 will WFH for 14 days while the positive one seeks treatment?

What about staff in companies who cant WFH? News yet to clarify on this.

“If the employee was at the workplace on any of the past seven days, the employer must then implement the snap 14-day work-from-home regime for all employees who are able to do so from the date of the positive test result.”

So those who are “not able” to do so, dun need to follow…I can think of so many escaping thru loopholes. What’s the point.
