And here I was having my hopes up that the kids could possibly return to inter-level CCA or even whole-class PE instead of the current groups of 2 / groups of 5 ball games, subject to voluntary self-administered Pre-event ART swab test negative.

But I’m not gonna petition or pressure MOE for it in case other parents are not comfortable with it.[/quote]
For inter-level CCA and PE to occur, think can dream long long. Not in the near future.

Am putting my hopes high on this provided less than 12 years old are vaccinated. Instead of starting the program next year, I hope we can do that starting in Nov this year.

Any working mums receive ART kits from their employer? I have not.
I have not received the 6 ART kits via mail too.

My company has not received ART from MOH/MOM or whoever is supposed to send it.

My parents have not received the ART at their home yet - it could be that they started with HDB, and private residences haven't got it yet, or maybe it's by region (my parents are in Upp Bkt Timah, which I think it close to where you live).

I can confirm that private residences have received them.

Some were asked by postman to sign for it (registered mail), while others were not. Just dropped into mailbox.

My company has not received either.

Can’t help but feeling worried for our children here, especially for those below 12 who are not vaccinated. For the time-being, we parents just have to do our part to try to keep them safe as much as possible…

If PUQ child is 5 -12yo, can 1 parent or 1 healthy grandparent below 80 be isolated in the same room as the child to take care of him?

How can the child be left alone in the room with attached bathroom all by himself?

Did MTF mention about this scenario?

Yeah, I was wondering a while back (before cases going up) if they were trying to hold things down until PSLE was over (although there isn't much time left in the year for the non-graduating kids after you factor in their year-end exams). But after that they would be free to do a lot more things.

Unfortunately for us, CCA has kind of become lost in the shuffle. They haven't played much in the last two years (and doesn't have said instrument at home) so it's hard to keep things going. Maybe they will have SYF next year? At least it is a fun social activity. But more PE and physical activity is definitely welcomed. Also hope for more in person group interactions. My kid's P5 camp has been cancelled three times now :gloomy: :gloomy: :gloomy:

We'll see. Perhaps we are just stuck in this awkward period right now. I do hope all of the kids can have a normal school life again soon but recognize it is not easy to be a decision maker in this environment.

Yay! Now we have QO, HQO, HRW, HRA, HRS, LOA and then this stay home 72 hours if your ART is positive SIR thing. Good luck trying to figure out the permutations and which applies to you or your household members starting from when. :siao:

I'm generally good with details, but this COVID thing is defeating me! Too many acronyms, too many changes.

Yah, why only Singapore likes to invent so many acronyms? Other health jurisdictions don't have any, except the universal PCR, EUA & EUL!

We have ART, FET, RRT, PET, HA (P1), HA (P2), CB
                      RGL, VTL, ATP, VTP
CCF, GQF, CRF, SIF, SHN, eQO, RSC

Are the Covid support officers illiterate?

I think if you are caregiver, you can be in contact with the person. Previously, I thought this essentially meant you would need to be on quarantine too, but I am not sure of all the rules, decision tree, flow chart right now. If one of us gets hit, will sort out the required as of then and comply.
