Iam so glad to see this thread since Iam in the middle of chosing a montessori school for my son who is in K1.

      Hi Mikii,
Which school do your children attend? Can you please let me know.

I stay in the west and none of the good school like LittleOaks Montessori, Little Wonders Montessori and Montessori For Children provide transport.

I saw CS-Montessori at Bukit timah plaza and planning to enroll him there. Did anyone hear about Innate Montessori at Jalan Jurong kechil.

Please kindly give your feedback if you know of any of the schools I mentioned.

Also, please suggest any montessori schools on the west.

      thanks in advance.

        hi vfong1,

Can you please share how is CS montessori. Iam planning to enroll my son there. I understand that they do not have wash room within the premesis and no outdoor play. Iam referring to CS at Bukit timah Plaza. Does your son go there? Iam just worried that the child should not feel too clastrophobic in one room.

How do you find the teachers. What is the teacher, student ration. Please kindly let me know your feedback.

        thanks

        Hi vfong,

Not sure what your question means. But what my daughter's school does is 2 hours of regular MOE curriculum daily followed by one hour of montessori where mathematics and phonics is blended in.

Where is your child currently attending?

        cs montessori.

How about the teacher:student ration. How many teachers does your child class have, including the Mandrin teacher. Please kindly share. How do you find the progress of your child?

Each teacher will take care of 5 students and there are 3 English teachers in the class. As for the chinese teacher, I’m not sure about the ratio.

He has progress very well for his phonics, numbers. He likes the class.

At CS Bukit timah, the parent treacher ratio is 1:8 or 1:10 almost Iam getting a bit worried.

                  Hi vfong1,

Did your son start attending playgroup at CS Montessori at 18 months?

Did he cry when he first started? Were you allowed to go into the class with him initially?

                  Thanks!

He didn't cry on the first day but from 2nd day he cried for about 2 weeks then he was ok. He started at 3 years old.
