My girl thinks that it is liquid expanding. The question provided a picture of a bun with the liquid flowing out via a hole near the top of the bun, so she believes that it is the liquid that expanded and flowed out of the bun. Her logic is that if it is the air that expanded, then the air would come out through the hole, rather than the liquid. Although the syllabus does teach that all matter can expand when heated, she is not aware that air expands more than liquid.
I think its a MCQ question.Veyron\" post_id=\"2040850\" time=\"1633414674\" user_id=\"30663:

Air expand. Air expand more than liquid plus liquid evaporated when heated.
Sounds like the MCQ is tricky with a lot of close answers! Probably it is deceptively easy and not really easy.
The question only mentioned liquid, it didn't say its water. Since there was no mention of any air trapped within the bun we should not assume that P6 students are expected to think about the possibility of air molecules released from the liquid. Furthermore, without knowing what liquid, we will not be able to tell what is the boiling point and when evaporation will take place.
Hence the answer should be liquid as the liquid expands faster than the bun. -

Does anyone know about this qns
A car tilted on a hill with people inside. What should they do, something about force.
One of the option is Equal amount of force to open the door because grativational force is same.
Anyone know the right option? Thank you -

Are these the kind of troubles you deal with in your daily life with your kids personally? Police and principal reprimand? Oh dear! I was talking pure academics ....you clearly have bigger issues buddy. Good luck
charsiu\" post_id=\"2040917\" time=\"1633430030\" user_id=\"28733:

One of the option is Equal amount of force to open the door because grativational force is same.
Anyone know the right option? Thank you
My girl thinks these are the options, feel free to correct if wrong:
1) both use the same force as gravitational force on both sides of the car is the same
2) the door on the higher end of the slope uses more force as it is going against gravity
3) the door on the higher end of the slope uses less force as it has more gravitational force
4) the door on the higher end of the slope uses more force as it has less gravitational force
She thinks that since the mass is the same, the gravitational force will be the same, so option (1) but practically I think it should be (2). -
Thank for sharig detailed options. Ur child has great memory š.
My selected same ans too -

Ok, now you got me intrigued. Without seeing the full question and understanding the context, I would say because liquids are non compressible so if it expands, it will flow out of the bun.
The question only mentioned liquid, it didn't say its water. With AL, to get into top schools, it not only depends on child's calibre. It also depends on your luck in balloting.
Difficult complain, Easy also complain.
Whether can get into top school depends on your kids calibre. You have to assess yr kids capability and put them in suitable schools.
Not die die must go RI/ NYGH, HCI etc.
