I think South Korea is going to be a sell-out, as there are many young travellers and couples into Kpop, KD and fashion.

I suppose if you take the red eye, you just sleep through. Have a heavy supper at Changi Airport before boarding. Or book business class if you have miles.

I guess upon arrival of a foreign country, one would be subjected to its COVID test. What if tested positive?

Or, after spending time in that country, you test positive 48 hrs before departure? That, to me, is one of the greatest disincentives for travel. Even if the quarantine requirements are lifted, there is no way to travel if you are Covid positive. I guess it's important to get good travel insurance (which may be expensive) that will cover Covid-related expenses like medical treatment, quarantine, travel delays, etc.

DH received the SMS for his booster shot liao (his “frontline priority” 1st & 2nd Pfizer doses were in February).

He picked Moderna for the booster, reason is we think it will give some sort of better coverage (to make up for whatever coverage Pfizer could not give).

Not surprising at all. Same logic as the dorms and prison, or perhaps even more POROUS...Outsiders like gardeners, cleaners, journalists, cooks, security detail on rotational shifts, guards, Zoom technical support, award recipients, sportsmen, foreign dignitaries, diplomats, secretaries, social workers, underprivileged, NGOs, etc.

PMO is also inside Istana. Just recall which countries came in the recent weeks/months. Their kakias must enter to discuss with Istana staff wrt security + protocol beforehand.

They all live OUTSIDE in the community, and will go wet-marketing and jalan-jalan when off duty.

This is one of my reasons for thinking to take M as my booster dose.
But M was thought to have a higher risk of heart inflammation esp for younger men ...
