Yup, this is from someone who's Dad received HRW. For those elderly without family support, can imagine how lost they may be...

The previous HRW message requiring people to take PCR and self-isolate for ten days or PCR negative whichever is later, is even more confusing to old people....

If I don’t know English and need help of a dictionary, I think I will spend a lot of time to search for sections first

Maybe also we’ve to update ourselves & catch up with much more advanced tech applications. 😬 Couple of years back, when going for my cataract appt, met an old frd. We laughed that hvn’t met for so long & concluded tt we might better chance meeting in hospitals. 😆

For those 50yo and above had the 2nd dose past 6 mths and haven't taken booster, can be considered vulnerable isn't it, if what now says vaccination can dong up to around 6mths?
I have already taken the booster shot 2 weeks ago, no fever, no headaches and no pain on my arms and can go back to office to work immediately.

Aiya, isn't this what a few forummers and I have been reminding for the past few weeks? Multilingual call centre, chatbots, website, instructions, and so on.

I've alr mentioned IDA/legalese, i.e pp's confusion/fear of being charged if they stepped out to do something including collecting the ART; should I stay or can I go dilemma?

With so many reports on 'White surrender/SOS flags' from our neighbour Msia, how could MOH not preempt or anticipate all these singles/widows/widowers having the same problems in Singapore? :slapshead:

What are the Perm Secs, MOSes, SMSes doing at MOH? They should keep a 360 lookout for their Minister for such pitfalls and hiccups! Minister only has 1 brain and cannot foresee so many problems.

Inside the care pack, they could provide each IO/QO person a multilingual door sign like those that hotels provide if you want \"DND\" or \"Please Makeup Room\". Just change to \"I need food rations\", \"I'm unwell\", \"SOS\". In addition, leave a blank for them to write their period of QO/IO, so good neighbours/volunteers can look out for them as and when they walk past their unit.

                  https://i.imgur.com/AG2mqLV.png\">

Ideally make one with a hook for them to hang on the metal gate. For elderly singles living in landed properties, maybe provide them a mini flag to tie on their main gate? Those in condos should get the security guards' contact.

I wonder how many old people living alone and no way to get help... If ask those really alone to register themselves, will it be too much for the area in charged to follow up?
I wonder if they are just too shy to ask? Or their neighbours really don't pay attention? Surely a neighbour should at least say Hi! now and again as they walk past? Or realise if a senior lives alone?

OK good. Unvaccinated primary school kids also can take VTL.

                        https://www.8world.com/singapore/covid-19-macpherson-gp-doctor-passed-away-1613706

Dr. Raymond Yuen, a GP who practiced at Hosanna medical clinic, died from COVID-19 complications at TTHSH after contracting the infection from his patient.

Very sad to hear of a doctor dying from COVID in the line of duty.
