If a family member receives a HRW, what will happen to the rest of the family members living in the same household?

I have wondered about this too. Based on articles/general reading, I could never figure out for certain. I believe only the person that received HRW will need to ART- every day to go out but I don't know for sure. I think if the HRW person tests ART+ then other household members will be issued a HRW and they will need to test daily as well.

I searched but didnt find anything concrete.
By right, one who receives a HRW doesnt mean he is C+. As long as he is ART -, the rest of his family members is as per normal w/o any restrictions.
Part in bold is where I ended up as well. If someone in household gets HRW I guess they will tell us whether the others need to do anything.

For the 2 visitors a day rule, does this refer to individuals from different households? If family members from the same household visiting grandparents, still apply?

...
You can be having high fever, no voice, rashes, whole body ache, no smell, no taste, etc. you will still fall under mild symptoms.

Ack?! :yikes: :scared:

Now I'm scared. Looks like I've got to learn to live in a world without smell or taste...

May I ask how how long it lasts in your case?

We are only 1-2 weeks into our infection, so far they have not returned. I googled, it appears that abt 40% of the infected people have lost their smell, some of them still have not recovered their senses after a year, a proportion has a warped sense of odour such that normal delightful smell becomes unpleasant odour.
https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-00055-6

These are not “mild” COVID symptoms, as what MOH, their experts and our media want us to believe! And how about long COVID, which we still do not know?

Be safe.

Yes, and that’s the reason why MIL has to come over to my place for lunch, since we can’t all 3 of us go to her place, nor can we all 4 dine out together unless split tables.

The rule allows a household to have 2 visitors a day, but it doesn't say that the visitors must be from the same household.

I am puzzled by this disparity.
Isn't it normal to assume that bigger flats like 5 rm would hv more occupants and hence need more mouth gargle?

Why need to register first? So troublesome especially for seniors…
