Nice sunny morning after a rainy afternoon yesterday, not too hot yet. Good time to go pottering around your garden if you are into gardening. But keep your seedlings or newly potted plants in the shade cos might rain again in the afternoon.

Y’day heavy rain. Last night was raining whole night over my side. Don’t feel like doing much with the ground so wet. Harvested some Japanese watercress for frying with eggs. Trimmed those capsicum leaves fr their base & started seeing fruits. No idea why my cape gooseberries keep dropping before it turns ripe.
I do crouch for my seedlings to protect them when they’re young. There’ll be a trough where I hv very well draining soil before I transfer them when they’re stronger.
Baking day for me. Starting on my Caramel Chiffon Cake. Going to get bananas to add to the cake for a diff try out. -
DS just finished his CL tuition. I wanted to order Grab food but no delivery riders available/all busy so the restaurants cannot take delivery orders. Wow PH is super peak hor. Ended up cooking whatever’s at home, simple dinner.
Tutor very happy that DS implemented everything we revised for Oral and Zuowen. I’m also happy that the MCQ qns went very well. Seems that he is a contextual learner. As long as there are contextual clues, he can make a good guess as to the best answer out of the given choices.
However, I cannot figure out why, although every component improved, still stuck in the same AL band…maybe it takes a lot more to climb out of this wide band. -
