Hi Skii,

Ours will be within our own school - they even gave the desk number 😅 .It’s a girls’ non-GEP school
Thanks.

My son’s round 2 test is at Keming Primary School. It is 25min drive away from his current school…
Our school is also providing 2-way transport to Keming Pri Sch… but it seems quite a few schools are doing it on own premises. So lucky

It would be useful to know if it’s still the 9 gep testing center or at each candidate’s individual school.

Every year, some students will go to other schools, some will be tested in their own school. It depends on a few factors, i suspect it’s the number of students selected, location of school etc.. unless things have changed due to covid.
Hi all the notification slips for Days 1 and 2 were given out today - indicates venue, time etc. We also have to declare kid’s temperature both days

Which venue may I ask?

(My child did not receive any notice yet)

My DC's letter stated the venue as his current school (a non-GEP school). I should think it's the same for everyone else?

Btw, parents will need to submit \"intent to participate\" by 12th November via a QR code link in the letter.
Oh strange, we did not see the QR code to declare \"intent to participate\". Our school sent us another letter on PG with a QR code to declare if you are issued a HRW status though...

Ds has also been sent to another school despite own school being a GEP Centre. Theoretically test venue is slightly closer to us but have never been to the school. Will have to figure out drop off and pick up place… and hope he can find the toilets in the school without getting lost 😆 maybe this is GEP’s way of evening out the environmental stress factors 🤷🏻‍♀️Either way, a good experience for the kids (and us) to learn to cope with changes and challenges!

Our school sent us another letter on PG with a QR code to declare if you are issued a HRW status though...
It's truly strange then. Basically what we received was 1-page of \"Notification Slip\" from MOE which stated the date, time, venue, room & desk number for my DC. Together with this, we also received a 5-page \"Letter to Parents for GEP Selection 2021\" signed off by the GEB Director. I've shared some page info below.
Page 1 has a section on GEP tests-related info, Covid ART requirements, HRW related info with 1st QR code (for HRW)
Page 2 shows alternative arrangements for valid absentees, reporting details, dismissal info, plus 2nd QR code to \"indicate your child's intent to participate in the Selection Exercise\" and also parent/s' contact details as GEB will be sending the outcome of the selection tests via email to parents.
Page 3 & 4 include FAQs on SMMs.
Page 5 (final page) shows a map of the test venue followed by info on morning arrival & afternoon dismissal from test venue.

I should think every child waiting for Round 2 will receive this set of documents somehow, be it via PG or physical printouts. And the MOE notification slip has to be a printout because the kids need to bring it along with them on both test days.

I suspect, many kids were selected In your school. They have to send some to another school to even out the manpower allocation due to covid safety measures.

my child is from a GEP center

they are going to Ferrer Park Pri.
(sch arranged for bus to send them at 730am)

I am guessing, this school is 20 mins drive away lo.
(Can’t seem to find the logic of the test venue allocation)
