Thank u for spring cleaning. My kid is in this 2022 PSLE batch. Of course anyone is free to post in this thread (even if their kids are not in this batch), but I’d appreciate if the discussion is relevant to this particular batch.

              Algebra was always allowed.
              That is absolutely right.

For those who wish to understand more about Singapore primary school math syllabus you can refer to this link
              https://www.moe.gov.sg/-/media/files/primary/mathematics_syllabus_primary_1_to_6.pdf?la=en&hash=B401E761C0BFC490279883CCE4826924CD455F97

As to the reason why primary school students are learning heuristics and pictorial approaches (e.g model drawing) in problem-solving you can refer to this link too.

Yes, I don't think they attend from Term 3 onwards. Some may effectively end earlier in Term 2 ahead of the SA1.

Thanks. I do hope they at least get to do some sort of leadership duties next year before stepping down.

When they “took over” from the current P6s in April after the farewell pizza party this year, effectively no CCA meetings at all due to SMMs, and they are simply having one short “hi and bye” Zoom session to close off 2021.

There is no announcement for my child's school and i wonder if there will be any, since there is no cca, nsg and syf this year..

My child is in a Uniformed Group, so there’s unofficial takeover (so he says).
