There will be tests done to show negative before board the plane, why the 14days?

As you mentioned, tests were done \"BEFORE\" board the plane.

What happen, if unlucky, catch covid inside the plane, from someone on the way back from Korea sight-seeing holiday to Singapore, before airplane land / touch down at Changi Airport?

If parents bring un-vaccinated children overseas, their children are vulnerable. Vaccinated people can also catch covid

Not sure if all that board the plane need to be -ve first before board the plane.

Via VTL, all no need isolate I think, does that means those test results are kinda can be trusted..If can be trusted, that someone just back from holiday may have high possibility got the virus from inside country? then why the different treatment..

Sporean, PR, L/T pass holders able to get various subsidies, so got some safety net also for those really need to travel.

Those people I know who are chiong-ing for the VTLs are those wanting to visit their families.

I have friends (migrated) coming back from US or AU to see their elderly parents, and take the chance to catch up in-person with old schoolmates etc. Or Malaysians with family near KL, finally can fly back home to visit.

The others are (like the newspapers reported) Uni students finally going back to AU universities for their studies.

Hardly any families with kids taking VTL just for pure holiday.

I on the other hand know of many who are going overseas purely for holiday.

Ditto. I know singles and families with older kids who are vaccinated have already departed or booked for holidays.

Some people do seem to think the holiday is worth the risk, even if the kids are unvaccinated. But I think most would only want to travel with older kids who have been vaccinated. For me, the risk of getting sick on holiday is part of the concern, but I'm more concerned about being stuck in a foreign country for ages if a family member gets sick! Too stressful, and very expensive.

Just got my mouthwash. It comes in a small bottle and I have put it against a remote control for comparison. Is it worth the trouble for getting it? Well... I needed the exercise ๐Ÿ˜†

I think the more hassle-free way is to join a tour group. If anything goes wrong, at least theyโ€™d have all their backup plans + liaising contacts to help you navigate the procedures etc. No need to figure out on your own. And the insurance probably covers the medical expenses.
