@Merlion we just ran through the list of school COPs from online source when it was first released and then narrow our search to school choices in the vicinity of Hougang so areas like AMK were in our consideration including Andersons but my child is like if i can get into Andersons then i might as well put PLMGS as my first choice cause that is what she has always wanted and so Andersons was off the list . In addition to ALs the search was also based mainly from my knowledge of the location of these schools and our neighbour is attending SJC . Some school names were also highlighted to me during conversation which are common and already in my list but not the schools that you mentioned kuo chuan and zhonghua . I have not heard of them before pardon me . Holy Innocents were considered over Xinming because i had a ex-colleague who was from there and also it is affliated to CJC. We dont have many friends who has kids the same age hence information is not as comprehensive and daddy is not into ‘schools’ because to him every school is a good school . As for me i do hope for a better school if my child is eligible to at least have a try at it if her academic results is of course good enough to vie for a spot and thats pretty much about it. PLMGS basically meets all our needs in term of a good school and location proximity. Good luck for all the children

Chief, I’m curious cos this is my first kid psle.
Do schools actually reveal this stat or must we dig a bit with the Teachers/ parents group to get such info? -
I think previously (Pre-Covid) the kids (and their parents + entire clan if they were keen) would gather in the school hall to listen to the principal give the PowerPoint presentation of these stats.
But now with the Covid situation, the kids go straight to their individual classrooms. The one accompanying parent has to wait at a designated waiting area. No idea if the kid gets to watch any such presentation over Zoom in the classroom. Or do they just receive their results immediately from the form teacher? -

Thanks. Probably at least the parents waiting in hall will get the presentation.

Need 4D, 4M and 4P?

Good luck to all P6 pupils today. I recalled my past few times on this day, it was so nerve-wrecking…

Any information of the % or number of students getting AL1 for individual subject will also be much appreciated for future batches of students. Thank you very much in advance.

All the best to P6 children. My 2nd time going through this but still just as nerve-racking! 🙏

That would be good, but optional. I'm still not very clear if the schools will actually go down to this level, or whether they will release the info.
