        Hi
        If AL14

        1. TKSS - : 9-14
        2. Hai Sing -: 10-16
        3. Pasir Ris Crest - : 9-17
        4. Tampines Sec -: 13-19
        5. Bedok south -: 14-19
        6. Meredian -: 15-19

        sounds ok?
Sounds ok. I suppose child has examined these schools’ CCA and travel route, and therefore come to these 6.

I hope you’re aware that Hai Sing will relocate to temp site from Jan 2023 to Dec 2024 for upgrading (possibly affecting the child’s “crucial” Sec 2 year where exam results will determine the Sec 3 subject combi).

68.4% of the cohort is AL 4-20 (express).

The poll results https://view.sparkchart.com/d/SFOIVIImMvt0sAHFod4uF3QVyt3kz2t1m0kLCHiO1/ currently is skewed, we need more participants.

Please share the poll link https://survey.sparkchart.com/start/ShystWtoXlOgUPbQ635qPtNL4emnCS5vAgpU65Kss/ outside of KSP (e.g. FB) to gain traction, thanks.

Ok, so it looks like the EESIS cut off is 5 this year.[/quote]
            Hi
So does this mean cut off for top schools now AL5 instead of 6? Someone said something like this in other thread...

ESIS is awarded to mainstream students under a certain criteria and is awarded GEP students under a different criteria.

ESIS is for cohort top 3% students (and not just GEP students). …

Sorry for not being clear. I mentioned that (1) ESIS is awarded to mainstream students under a certain criteria and (2) is awarded GEP students under a different criteria.. It is not just for GEP students. I did not say it is only for GEP students. I meant to say, there are 2 ways to qualify for ESIS. A mainstream student can qualify for ESIS under (1).

And that was how last time the 250+ could also get esis because they were gep students. But then again, it is not valid from psle 2021. Never mind, forget I said anything, since it is no longer valid. So now there is just one route to ESIS sec 1.

              Anyone also noticed?
Now no more default ESIS for GEP P6 kids.

Previous ESIS is around 261-262… So is AL5 only 261/262 onwards? Can draw parallel like this?

Always tot AL6 was at least worth 260…

I guess this is the million dollar question and we won’t know until posting results are out.

My girl has AL6M, if we put RGS as 1st choice and Nanyang as 2nd, is this safe?

Was it not AL6? My child said it was mentioned ESIS is AL6. :scratchhead: Not sure if he heard wrongly.

                        AL6 any chance for HCI?
