Can check what is the avg GPA promotion criteria for Year 1, 2, 3 n 4?

      Y1 GPA ≥ 2.0
      Y2 - Y4 GPA ≥ 2.4

Thanks. Any 2nd tier criteria? Like minimum grade for English, Chinese or Maths?[/quote]Y1 - Y4 at least a C in English.
The GPA of the subjects considered for Y1 - Y4 differ. e.g. For Y1-Y2: average of grade points of English + Higher Chinese + Maths + Best 3 Other Subjects

I thought it is based on L1R5 instead whereby you can choose either English or Higher Chinese as the L1 for the gpa computation? No ah?

As my child has DSA-ed into DHS, I would like to buy uniform in advance.

Can a parent (esp Year1) comment on whether 2 sets of uniforms (blouse n skirt), 2 sets of polo-T, 2 sets of PE T-shirt and PE shorts are sufficient?

How many days in a week can a student wear polo shirt?
Are PE T shirt n pants bought from a different vendor (not Shanghai)?
          Thanks.

Only need to wear uniform on Monday and Polo T on Friday, the rest of the day is PE attire/Polo T.

Y3 - Y4 one of the first languages must be used for computation. The other first language may be used in one of the R.

Hi! I would recommend having one set of uniform blouse and one polo tee, as these are only worn once a week (blouse on Monday, polo on Friday). I think 2 sets of PE (shorts and tshirt) will be a good start and 3 pairs of skirts. Personally, I only change my skirt every 2 days. Hope this helps!

When you enter, you get an orientation tee, you can wear that, or PE shirt. As you go along, you collect more t-shirts like CCA tee, class tee, Dunman tee. T-shirts are more comfortable for our weather 🙂 hope this helps

hi all! my child is considering between DHS, VS and HCI for 2022 intake so would like to find out the culture in DHS and what made your child enjoy DHS

DHS was my husband’s alma mater and he strongly believes in the character building which DHS has, which has shaped his character and forged many great friendships which lasted till this day.

building character is our primary focus when researching for a secondary school for my child, with strong moral values

however, as DHS was still not an IP school in my husband’s era, I’m wondering if anyone knows how the past cohorts have fared for A levels?

The current indicative COP for DHS is 4-8, while my child scored 6 with a merit in HCL, i do feel anxious placing him in an IP track

thanks in advance for reading my post
