For parents who currently have children in SST, do you mind share if there is any difference for the student life in SST pre-pandemic and post-pandemic? Does the group work get lesser? Any changes to the "application" method of study?

The morning trips are probably fixed in timing. For the return trips, perhaps my son will take the public transport back or get mummy to pick him up.

monday starts later. i do heard of a parent who stays in sembawang uses private bus. i stay sembawang too. but we send our son to school in the morning, and he will take public transport back after school.

private bus bus might need to wake up earlier, if the bus have to travel a few locations to fetch other students.
at present, my son wakes up at 635am on mon and 550am on tue. enough time to bath and eat something before leaving the house.

after school, he take public transport, is roughly 1hr 15mins. because still need take bus from mrt to home.

Hello Parents!

My ds will be in Sec 1 at SST next year. Am looking at the booklist… is it right that we need not get the Science textbook ie. optional? Just get textbook for the languages, Mathematics, History and IT? The IT kit is rather expensive, it will be used right? ^^'

If books are listed as optional, you don’t need to buy and yes, the IT kit will be used. More info will be shared on registration day. If items are oos, not to worry, you can buy when school reopen.
