I wish I could shop for leisure..those recent shops were those items I never handled before need installation..and you buy online cheaper but then you have to liaise w. installation guy separately coz they only sell item and worst is the item sold is not returnable and we have no measurement therefore increases the risk..so I joked with my gal I said maybe we can put unusable toilet bowl as a seat in living room.

Coz last min decision so only less than 1 wk b4 the 11 11 sale so need do all fast..after that my tenant told me their side basin got crack..ok la 2nd round for me got experience already settled very fast... then dd getting abit frustrated with her nee ipad thou she settled most of it I find it not right cannot use so much time on those issues.. I was prepared to buy a better one for her.. but she feeling heartache so I chkg see what other avenue available..

Not to mention younger one also asking for 1 thou I been telling her to continue 'dreaming' her daddy says get her one.. when I chit chat with my dd last night..I say for you all to say buy is very easy but mommy need chk around leh..is it only me coz I know nothing abt those and calculative?

I don't like waste, and I don't like to rush a decision, especially when it's something I am unfamiliar with. So I do spend significant time checking and assessing, but I will put off a purchase rather than buy quickly and regret. There will always be another sale, and most things are not so urgent. Also, I factor in the time spent into the \"cost\" - online shopping can suck up a lot of time, much more than just buying locally. If really urgent, I will buy from a local store where I can see it first, and can get it fixed/returned if necessary.

I have been putting off..since like Jul when I started to follow the double date sale. Always the unsure measurement put me off.

So this round I thought I just want to push it thru.

And luckily just noticed that I haven't tell the basin delivery (this Fri) is to another location after keep talking abt item, installation and timing of delivery to coincide with tenants availability to receive till forgot abt address..now confirmed done le..

You mean having issue when use hp to tap on the reader at those gate ? After need to show vacc status I tried few times at same gate but just won't work. I was told that I need to tap at 2 readers ..but I never tried le. Just open TT app on hp and scan barcode now.

What do you mean by \"at 2 readers\"? What 2 readers? There's only 1 gateway at the entrance?

There is one flat like we tap mrt card and another one from the top facing downward...that's my understanding if not wrong coz when I asked we were not near the gate entry..so I imagined it is that.[/quote]So you mean he says to tap at BOTH readers? That doesn't help at all!

Actually how are we suppose to do it? Tap on one or both? I try it when I have a chance and update here.

On the buzzing sound on my hp..looks ok till now let's see if it is cured?

I have another issue, my Samsung stylus broke..haiz..

I am a dog lover. Had 2 dogs - a chihuahua and a Jack russell. After they passed away of old age, I cannot bring myself to have another dog because of the pain of separation. It was really bad. Sigh. I wish dogs can live as long as us, so that we don't have to deal with being apart.

Yeah same thought. I have shih tzu and thinking he will be seperate from me, I just can't... 😢

After reading a few posts here, I could feel the pain of separation when dogs leaving us even I have never keep a dog or a cat at home.

Thus, I do it in another way. Instead of using my money to keep a pet dog or cat at home, I spend my money on sponsoring the education for kids in those third world countries via The World Vision International. There are many kids in the world (especially girls) cannot go to school because of poverty. With S$500 per year, we can change the fate of a kid and give them hope for the future.

I have been sponsored a girl in West Bank, Israel for more than 10 years and she has just graduated from secondary school and becoming a primary school teacher and I started to sponsor another girl at the age of 7 for schooling from July this year.

Therefore instead of experience the pain of separation with out pets, I always looking forward to receive the letters from these kids...telling me how their school life is and how the pursue their dreams via studying.

DBS online banking was down for almost two days. This has caused me great inconvenience. I wonder if the online rumors of DBS being hacked by overseas hackers are true. Very hard to imagine Singapore’s most tech savvy bank to have its online banking services down for two days.

What’s worse, over the weekend, I was notified by SingPost to make payment of $3.19 to top up for an overseas parcel stuck with Sing Post. The SingPost directed me to make an online payment and I was naive enough to key in my credit card details!! 😢 😢 😢

My children told me it could be a scam and it caused me sleepless nights since then. And with DBS online banking down, I couldn’t even check whether my credit card has been hacked!!!

Very scary. Now cannot even make any online purchase without being worried about being hacked.

Call the bank hotline to check your credit card outstanding balance and inform the bank to deactivate your credit card for the time being. Check with Sing Post whether the top up $3.90 is true or not.

Yes it is a scam. I received that SingPost email several times too. Sometimes they even claim it is a DHL parcel or important legal documents!
