I used baby pics taken at the hospital. They offered a package complete

with passport sized ones. πŸ˜‰ We travelled quite a bit with DD1 so the
bb passport pic sure came in handy. She had her own passport by the
time she was 2mths old.

With DD2, we did it at a nearby shop. We could put her on a stool and held
her bum from behind the stool. I tickled the sides of her tum a lil bit and got
a smile outta her for her like 8th month passport pics. πŸ˜‰

my dd took her first passport photo in a nearby photo shop when she was only 1mth. if i remember corretly, parent was allowed to hold baby behind a light color blanket. u can check with the photo shop first....

You mean, cover the parent with a blanket? :?

cover the hand that holding baby. it is done just so easily πŸ˜›

new mj paper then? I thought of nappy, but a bit unsure if that white is white enough but that one a bit the small... πŸ˜‰ Never thought of clean issue cos it's only short while and not as if bb is eating from it.

To collect passport, best to make e-appointment.

Not too long ago, I was at ICA. The queue waiting time was more than 3 hours.

Good thing I made an appointment!
Ya, me too.. Lucky made an e-appoinment.. so I am able to collected it within 15 mins...

                thanks, everyone! πŸ™‚

i'll try the white cloth nappy first cos i'm afraid dd2 may roll over and destroy the mahjong paper with her drool.

as for baby pics package, we only did tt for dd1. can't be bothered for dd2. πŸ˜‰ anyway, dd2 looks very different from her newborn pics now.

If another girl, mebbe yes. Nothing at all.

LKVM, schellen and i are very fortunate to have
hubby as the sole breadwinner so i suppose we
try to save on what we can. Or mebbe it's just
me lar.. not schellen. She can splurge on a
Gucci framed specs but i can't.

Only get stuff we NEED instead of stuff we WANT.
Save the extras for rainy days and short trips. πŸ˜„

Aniwaes, the photo package can now be done
ourselves lar i suppose, since buds_hubs has
recently indulged in a new DSLR. He's in two
minds to upgrade lens and what nots.. so i'll
leave the photo taking to him. πŸ˜‰

All that said, if it's a boy... ... i bet ya that
buds_hubs will splurge all his extras on his new boy. :politebleah:

                        LKVM:

Regarding the 2nd child and following ones they get tend to get old stuff specially when oredi the earlier child is the same sex.. like for my DS2 he still get all his clothings from DS1 cause kids grow so fast and the clothes are almost new :stupid:
I scared DS2 will think I love korkor more than him, so die die made sure that DS2 has some photos taken...so dragged my unwilling self for the same photo shoots when he was full month and 1 year. Being FTWM helps lah. But then, heart willing, body weak, so end up DS2 also don't have as many pix.

But yes, DS2 also quite poor thing, most of his stuff are hand me downs - shoes, uniform, clothes and toys. Many a time korkor get the new things - and now I can get nicer things cos theoretically can last 2 persons.

But having been a younger child myself, I will try to get some new stuff for him. It's really hateful if EVERYTHING is handmedown leh.
