Fr Yr1-4 it’s IP in-house designed programme to prep the boys for Y5-6 IB towards earning the IB Diploma well recognized for Uni admission locally & international Unis in general.
Hello all, I saw the ACS IP programme says that they do not take Singapore-Cambridge A level.
Can someone help me to understand why kind of certification after the 6 years of course?
Thank you so much -
The ACS(I) Integrated Programme (IP) consists of 4 years of secondary education followed by 2 years leading to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Other schools have IPs that are 4 years secondary education followed by 2 years leading to the GCE A-level Certificate instead.

DS targeting to enter ACSI IP next year.
We are contemplating taking a 3rd language in Sec 1, probably French.
May I check:
1. Are the lessons held in campus or outside campus?
Depending on what language taken, typically conducted at Bishan or Newton MOELC
2. Which days are the lessons?
3. How long is each lesson?
Abt 2 hours with break time
4. Any kind souls who would like to share your third language experience at ACSI?
Many thanks! -
@jlytze. You’re most welcome!

Does anyone know if the boys can take Chinese as a HL subject in year 5/6?

Technically yes. This would be the equivalent of doing literature in Chinese, using literary works originally written in Chinese. However, they won't offer it if there is insufficient take-up. In the days when we had many scholars from China, it was viable; now I'm not so sure.
