Yes actually I am not holding much hope (she said she didnt finish the papers) and I dont think I will transfer her even if she does make it in. Im just kpo...the papers are like a mythical unicorn that everyone is trying to know more about (especially the GEP prep centres), but the kids themselves who'd seen the papers usually cannot recall much!
Yes indeed! My boy and I concluded last night that GEP is like an \"exam of secrecy\" 😂 I think in my house, we're just glad it's finally over and happy that it was a positive experience for him, especially since we can't control the outcome. 😊

Ah thanks for the info skii…so there are no answers to the impossible questions?

revils_ling…indeed! I see it as a learning experience since the p3 exams were cancelled and the kids dont have much "real exam" experience. My girl’s friend, also taking the paper, came over for a playdate yesterday and they had lots of fun - let the holidays begin!

Seemed like either the paper was set wrongly

or the kids remember the questions (and options) wrongly.

Or need to shade option D + option E.
          (Hahahah. I doubt )

But not important now as the kids are playing happily now.

(It’s play date at our place today - a well deserved celebration for them)

My son said for English there is no question number 37...There was a skip question. I told him how can that be??? So most probably he shade the answers not in sequence...😪 Anyway English is gone case. Infact who will know even if is a mistake??? Secret 🤣 He picked up the bad experience that he had in English paper so he tried to do bit faster for his Maths..he mentioned not too bad partly his Maths Olympiad background did help. For GA i believe he just tikam... To be honest chances is slim..of course even if he gets, i may not let him go..Seeing him so stress up, I think I better let him be the Big fish in the small pond 😅😅

Hi, anyone’s kid had an OAS answer sheet with final question number that didn’t tally with the Question paper final question number?

My kid said 3 out of the 4 papers (English, English GA and Math) had the total number of questions tally with the OAS sheet. Example: 40 questions in the question paper and also exactly 40 questions to shade in the OAS, no Q41 or Q42 etc. in the OAS.

However 1 of the papers (Math GA) had fewer total questions in the question paper as compared to the number of questions printed on the OAS. Hence he had blanks on the OAS (nearly 10 blanks in the OAS that had no corresponding question in the question paper). He checked the question paper multiple times to make sure he didn’t skip any question too.

Is the above possible? Everyone else says their question paper always tallied with their OAS in terms of number of questions.

Or did the invigilator give him the wrong question paper (since no name is printed on the question paper) such that it doesn’t tally with his OAS (with his name printed on it)?

Don’t worry . My DD said the same . GA 2 OAS was not filled up . There were fewer qn on the qn paper than what was available on the OAS for shading .

Thank you!! Such a relief after reading your reply. For a moment there, I thought my kid was one of the rare unlucky ones to experience an error. Thanks so much for replying to my post! 😊

Arg, I thought I am the only one! Whn my son told me that the questions and answer not tally..I chose not to believe him and questioned him back how can?? Thought he made a blunder by omitting a question. So actually there is really questions that dont match. But he mentioned was English paper..As he was too upset over this so I wouldnt dare to ask further whether other papers have this issue. No way we can justify this..

I am trying to ask my son abt questions, he told me he went there to work on answering not remember questions…faint…he cannot remember anything.

I just asked him abt question and number not tally, he told me for those sample questions need to shade in question paper not in OAS otherwise it will not tally - i dont know how true he said, to be honest i am lost in this GEP!!!
