SST website says interviews are conducted from 26-29 Nov for shortlisted applicants. On 30 Nov they will let applicants know the outcome.

i am not sure what the criteria for getting shortlisted for SIE are. i only know my friend’s son did well for maths n science in PSLE. perhaps you’d like to give SST a call on Sat/Mon to enquire on the status.

Just to share, my child have an AL 8 score with AL1 in Math and AL2 in Science.

To add on, the SST principal shared during the virtual meeting that AL score or T score may not be a good indicator for success rate of SST DSA. Interested student should have a strong interest in project work/discussion, as majority of the school work may involves project work. If your child is not interested in group discussion/project work, maybe SST may not be a good choice. However, if your child have these interests, then by all mean, go for it. You will never know, unless you try.

We have a good discussion with my son if he's interested in SST DSA, explained to him about about SST's applied learning and the kind of school education that SST offered. He indicated his interest, hence we suggested that he should try for SST DSA. If he's successful, good, if not, take it as a learning experience.
