I need some advises here. My son got AL9 with P for HTML. The school COP is 6M-9M. What r the chances if he apply CHS as first choice?

Hi all,

My son’s score is 8Merit. We are going to put CHS IP as first choice to maximise our chance. As for second choice, considering CHS OP.
May I ask
1) is there any chance for OP student to be transferred to IP? If so, how is it done and how difficult it is?
2) can OP still join math and science Olympiad?
3) I m considering if I should put Chung Cheng high main as second choice if there is no chance of transfer to IP for the affiliation point to NYJC.

May I know from experienced parents here how many sets of school uniform should the boys have? Do they wear the school uniform often or are they allowed to be in PE shirts and shorts on certain days of the week? Thanks.

My boy has 3 sets of uniform and 3 sets of PE attire.
For this entire year, due to Covid, the school allows the boys to wear PE top + green uniform shorts regardless of timetable. Then bring 1 pair of shorts on PE days to change.

Pre-Covid days, I recall the rule was to wear full uniform everyday, and bring PE attire to change on days with PE.
There's also one \"tie-day\" (i.e. full uniform + tie) on rotating days of the week. E.g. Term 1 Mon is \"tie-day\", Term 2 Tue is \"tie-day\", etc.

Oh and about the uniforms, I understand that they are allowed to wear PE tops with berms during this Covid period. But if I don’t know the house for PE, can I just buy the normal PE tee? Additionally for the shoes, what are the requirements?
