There will be two week of trying out CCAs and thereafter student have to fill up a form indicating the choices of CCA n ordering. Student is expected to rank accordingly to the choices of CCA and must be at least one choice from each category of CCA. ( Not sure what is this about)

Please note that CGS is using iPad as personal learning devise and understand that the school assists to download software and application for learning purpose.

The school will also set certain restriction on the iPad that disallow accessing to restricted internet website.

There will be Handphone locker for all students to lock up the device during school lesson hence for emergency purpose do call the school office.

It's heartening that CGS has rules on handphone usage & websites access restriction. If 2022 Sec 1 students already have their own iPads, does this mean they will not need to buy?
Instead they will bring their own iPads & allow school to help them download the necessary learning software & apps ?? Any idea what is minimum required specs for their learning devices?

My daughters' was using Surface pro 4 from Sec 1 to Sec 4 and we bought the Surface pro outside during IT fair using the list of recommendation provided by the school. Half way thru the study her friend changed to iPad Air 4.

I would advise not to purchase the Personal Learning Device (PLD) until the school has given the list of recommendation. The school offer support to download software and assist to check the PLS due to the download software issues.

My daughter’s has been given the honor to click on the submission tab after numerous round considering and ultimately she put CGS as first choice.

Finally a closer of one week of thinking and considering on the school selection based on distance, CCA and logistic arrangement.


As for me will be a continuity of another 4 more years to CGS (If posted) sending and fetching my younger gal to the same school daily.
