Hmmm no info on classes? Any idea when schools will inform on the class or have to wait til school reopens?

Thanks. You are correct. I mixed up with Sec1 posting/registration. ๐Ÿ˜†

For GEP, first week of school in current P3 school uniform should be fine ya? I checked the uniform purchase may only have earliest appointment on 7 Jan (for St Hildas)
        Hi AHsDad,

I've just sent u a PM regarding this.

Follow the flow chart for specifics.

Receiving school will provide more info on a later date.

Received the school posting too. Glad to get our first choice, which is also the nearest school from my location.

In the GEP Guide for Parents 2021.pdf, one of the factors considered for posting of pupils is \"distance between the pupil's home and the GEP centre\".

The exact posting mechanics is a blackbox; no one knows for sure the exact sequence of steps. What if you prefer a school for their programme, but it isn't the nearest school and your child isn't already in the school at P3 or doesn't have a sibling in that school? What are your chances of getting that school? I'm curious.

With enough past data from parents, we can build a predictive model that gives the likelihood of being posted to school of a choice, based on the factors such as distance, student gender and mother tongue. This model will benefit other parents in future.

If you have submitted GEP choices for your child (be it this year or previous years) and you will like to help to contribute to the above effort by submitting data, please do so at https://yo-kelvin.web.app/ (there's a link to a google form) .

            Thanks in advance!

              (School specific)

The GE HOD reached out to the parents earlier today too.
              FYI.

For parents gateway - it will show the primary school and class the child is in.

Let us know when the new school (and P4 class) is reflected ok?

I was just curious so opened PG to see if there was anything new, then I saw the new school and class reflected under child's name. ๐Ÿ‘ My DS is a transfer student.

Even got class. I think itโ€™s quite confirmed one. MOE wonโ€™t suka suka change such things.
