Thank u!
A parent just shared the rules on shoes few post above. Black or dark blue sport shoes as the dominant colour. White school shoes are acceptable too.
They will be offered to buy cca windbreaker around term 2 if I remember right. 😉 -
Thanks

Jackets - different consortiums may sell their jackets (usually during first parents' meet but coming year will likely be virtual), some CCAs may sell/give(national comps), some classes may design. For lower sec, they dont have aircon in the classrooms so they dont need jackets; jackets are a necessity for some from upp sec to JC. They WILL have a lot of t-shirts though.
What types of sch shoes are allowed and does HCI have their own jackets pls? I -

Im a bit confused because the hci letter said NO TRYING of Uniforms & PE Attires for purchase on site. What to do if the uniform is too big or too small?

I think you can try to order again/pickup. Not sure if you will be able to exchange at the same time as pickup or if you need to wait until Jan and return the unwanted item then (just have the student bring back the item when school starts). I assume the following week is quite busy, so they may have \"pickup only\" stations available (vs. processing returns).

May I check for the current Year 1 students, did they purchase the print and digital bundle for think! Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, please? I have hand-me-down books but the booklist states to purchase the print and digital bundles and there are no options to purchase the digital versions only.

Hi. Last year (2021 Sec 1), the think! Mathematics books were print only, so I can't say whether the digital add-on is needed (seems like this year you can only buy print+ digital package or print only).

For Physics and Chem, last year the recommended bundle was also print + digital, and we purchased both. I believe most kids probably used mainly the school notes, perhaps some seldomly opening the textbooks (may depend on the teacher and individual student preferences). FWIW, Physics and Chem are both compulsory subjects in Sec 3 - Sec 4, so these books will likely last all four years unless they come up with a new edition along the way (and maybe the Upper Sec kids are still mainly using the class notes - I'm not sure).
If you have used versions (print) of all, I'd guess the student will be OK but can't be 100% sure. Should be able to buy at bookshop if needed at a later date though (if adverse to buying now). -

Hi, thank you very much for the reply. May I know what FWIW is pls? I am thinking the teachers might want to use the digital versions as the students will be buying personal learning devices.
