Walao eh... they just hit 1M cases/ day then classify us under unknown Level 4.
Actually, why is the disease level here \"unknown\"?
The number of cases are reported, known & even broken into Omicron or not... kinda weird.

With Omicron around, I dont know what would be the restrictions during CNY.

‘‘Unknown’’ is immaterial as long as their immigration dept doesn’t:
- impose quarantine on us (the way we are imposing say, 10 days on Cat 3&4 arriving pax);
- impose an on-arrival PCR test like HK/ROK are imposing on us or us SG imposing on everyone from Known and Unknown countries;
- bar us from entering completely like Italy is doing to us; and
- subject us to additional PCR tests in the first 7 days post-arrival like you have to do in the UK and Switzerland.
‘‘Unknown’’ won’t prevent us from departing from US borders because we follow our own govt’s border rules on the return leg.
"Unknown" will remain unknown to most retail merchants, F&B service staff and attraction staff on the ground. Unlike the border control folks, svc frontliners don’t really keep track of their govt’s ever-changing high-risk, low-risk, red, amber, green or white lists. No one knows if you’re from an ‘‘Unknown’’ country. So long as you’re fully vaccinated/boostered, you can access those amenities and activities.
"Unknown" will only be an issue if some hotels start to reject booking by persons from an Unknown country, but it is not the case right now. -

Well, we will find out in less than two weeks time if the MRNA vaccines really work. I think Singapore is the only country with more than 90% jabbed with MRNA vaccines. Western countries including Israel are badly affected by Omicron because their vaccination rate not high enough.
