For P4 and above, only HCL/CL and Math classes are banded classes, grouped according to results. Sc and EL will be in form class, which is mixed ability. But not sure if new P will change anything.

May I ask if getting 90% in P4 in RGPS is it considered normal / average? is it true that even with this score the child will not even be in the top 25%? Thanks

            Hello, Parents!

Anyone here who applied for a Parent Volunteer (PV) and received a response from the school for a kid born in 2017?
            Thanks!

                  Hi manorway

My niece got this score last year in her report book and seems she did not get the edusave cert for top 25% , also she was not selected for any extra classes after school. Seems to be tough to be in this school to be the top tier

Hi, I applied for PV for my daughter born in 2017. No reply so far. I am also keen to know if any parent who applied recently, has heard back from the school
Let's keep each other posted. Any parents who have any other info, pls feel free to update here. Thank you all. πŸ™πŸΌ

Hi AudreyK, thanks for sharing. I learnt from a parent recently that his kid scoring 94% last year is in the top25%, not top 10%. At first, I found that shocking too.

The letters for stretch programme were given out in the first week of school but I thought the girls were selected based on their abilities and potential for the subject and the overall % is not a factor for consideration.

Is it possible that the GEP class make the score so skewed?
